Agnus Dei

Originally introduced to the global Church through Michael W. Smith’s iconic performance, “Agnus Dei” has become a timeless declaration of Christ’s kingship and sacrificial love. Drawing from the biblical imagery of Revelation and the ancient Christian proclamation “Lamb of God,” the song centers on the truth that Jesus—who gave Himself for the salvation of the world—is eternally worthy of worship.

The AOH Music recording captures that spirit of worship in an especially intimate way. The moment unfolded during a BEHOLD gathering while the Blessed Sacrament was exposed, a time when the room had grown quiet and prayerful. In that sacred stillness, lead vocalist Brianne Nealon began to sing “Agnus Dei,” entering into a deeply personal expression of worship that soon drew the congregation into the same posture of reverence.

An excerpt from this very moment was later shared across AOH Music’s social media platforms, where it quickly generated a wave of engagement from viewers who were moved by the sincerity and atmosphere of the recording. In response to that overwhelming feedback, AOH Music chose to release the full live recording so that listeners could experience the moment in its entirety.
